Why this comes first

Usually you don’t need more space.

Every capacity conversation starts with an assumption: that you need more space. Usually you don’t. You need the space you have to carry more, and the only question worth answering first is how much more, and at what cost.

The assessment answers it before you commit to anything.

Technical assessment of a facility
What we look at

Every rung, scoped.

What we assess

Multiply

Where compute is memory-bound rather than core-bound. Fabric readiness. Net capacity and thermal impact of a pooled-memory deployment.

What we assess

Recover

Stranded and end-of-life assets. Recoverable floor area and recoverable capital.

What we assess

Uprate

Thermal and electrical headroom. Airflow and CFD analysis. Density ceiling by row. Retrofit path. Utility rebate and incentive eligibility.

What we assess

Extend

The gap remaining after the lower rungs — sized properly, so you buy modular capacity for what’s actually left.

What we assess

Deploy

Site readiness to receive and commission equipment.

The deliverable

The Stranded Capacity Report.

  1. 1

P12 current level on the BRUNS-PAK 1-10 Reliability Ranking

  2. 2

P12 target level for the planned workload, with the gap itemized

  3. 3

Usable kW currently stranded, broken out by cause — dead assets, thermal ceiling, memory-bound compute.

  4. 4

Cost to unlock at each rung.

  5. 5

Payback against a new build, and against colocation.

  6. 6

A recommended sequence — including what we advise you not to do.

Assessment duration, fee structure and exactly what is included.

Why it isn’t free

Free assessments are sales calls with a deliverable attached, and they’re scoped to reach a predetermined conclusion. Ours is a paid engagement with an independent output. If the answer is that you should do nothing this year, that’s what the report will say — and you’ll have a document you can take to your board either way.

A Veridyn Capacity Assessment is a fixed-fee, P01 duration engagement that tells you how much usable capacity is stranded in your facility, what it costs to unlock, and in what order.

Fixed fee · independent output · a report you can take to your board.
